What Are Defamation, Libel and Slander? Generally speaking, defamation is the issuance of a false statement about another person, which causes that person to suffer harm. Slander involves the making of defamatory statements by a transitory (non-fixed) representation, usually an oral (spoken) representation. Libel involves the making of defamatory statements in a printed or fixed medium, such as a magazine, blog, e-mail message or newspaper.
Typically, the elements of a cause of action for defamation include:
A false and defamatory statement concerning another; The unprivileged publication of the statement to a third party (that is, somebody other than the person defamed by the statement); If the defamatory matter is of public concern, fault amounting at least to negligence on the part of the publisher; and Damage to the plaintiff. In the context of defamation law, a statement is "published" when it is made to the third party. That term does not mean that the statement has to be in print.
Damages are typically to the reputation of the plaintiff, but depending upon the laws of the jurisdiction it may be enough to establish mental anguish.
Most jurisdictions also recognize "per se" defamation, where the allegations are presumed to cause damage to the plaintiff. Typically, the following may consititute defamation per se:
Attacks on a person's professional character or standing; Allegations that an unmarried person is unchaste; Allegations that a person is infected with a sexually transmitted disease; Allegations that the person has committed a crime of moral turpitude; While actions for defamation have their roots in common law, most jurisdictions have now enacted statutes which modify the common law. They may change the elements of the cause of action, limit when an action may be filed, or modify the defenses to an action for defamation. Some may even require that the defendant be given an opportunity to apologize before the plaintiff can seek non-economic damages.
Under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, as set forth by the U.S. Supreme Court in the 1964 Case, New York Times v Sullivan, where a public figure attempts to bring an action for defamation, the public figure must prove an additional element: That the statement was made with "actual malice". In translation, that means that the person making the statement knew the statement to be false, or issued the statement with reckless disregard as to its truth. For example, Ariel Sharon sued Time Magazine over allegations of his conduct relating to the massacres at the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps. Although the jury concluded that the Time story included false allegations, they found that Time had not acted with "actual malice" and did not award any damages.

Keep up the search ladies and find more like you. But you should get a lawyer and file a civil suit. If you like, You can do the paperwork yourself. Fill out a "warrant of debt" form from the general court office building and then file it in the city of the persons home. This will only cost you $21-$26 if you do it yourself. A lawyer would charge $200.

He has professional profiles on MiGente, BlackPlanet, Go BIG network, Cambridge Who's Who, ZoomInfo People Directory! and Spokes Business Directory. He also has created several shell companies like Entity Real Estate Holding, Entity Private Held Mortgages, Entity Professionals, Entity Broadcasting with the intent to lure investors on false promises while spending investors money illegally. He surrounds himself with honest, trusting people to create the illusion of legitimacy while he spends their money behind their backs. He has pages on MySpace and Facebook also. He has a website that is up for Entity Professionals, LLC in order to lure legitimate business owners into either getting access to their network and scamming someone within that network or eventually scamming the clients themselves. The website that he has for The Buck Stops Here Live Radio Show of Hampton Roads Virginia does not even exist anymore and he owes the radio stations money that he has not paid in a long time. The radio stations are WYRM in Norfolk, VA and WPMH in Chesapeake, VA. Using this deception he portrays himself falsely as a national radio show host when he is currently not broadcasting anywhere. His current endeavor is AEC/VIP an adult film/event and modeling escort company that lures young females into depravity. Jonathan, you did delete the comment that my sister made on TBSHL blog. You are obviously in control of that blog...but not this one. The comment was in reply to your last comment to Fred. It stated...How will the resolution to our discrepancy be prolonged by what any other individual posts on the internet? You first stated that you will begin payback next weekend which was Feb 14, then you commented again stating that we would see a resolution in the next few months..which one is it? Apparently it wasn't Feb 14th because my sister nor I have heard anything from you. You can go ahead and take legal action for defamation of character but you WILL lose cause everything stated is true! We have gone through the steps of the default stated on the promissory notes but our requests have been ignored. You even ignored a collection letter sent to you on Jamal Lane from an Framme Law firm. I promise you that you will not get away with this....no matter how long it takes. You have created turmoil and grief in my family and justice will be served! We will continue to put all our effort in getting our money back..with interest (per the promissory note)...In time....justice will prevail.
The post above from TBSHL regarding Jonathan's so called attorney is also a lie. I spoke with Mr. Conway H. Sheild III, Attorney At Law from Jones, Blechman, Woltz & Kelly law firm, and although he has spoken with Mr. Keese, he denies representing him. So once again...lies, lies, lies. Jonathan contacted my sister via email, asking me to remove my blogs because its hindering him from doing business and making money to pay us back....lol. HELLO! That's the reason for the blog...to ruin him and hopefully send him to jail. I really have given up on the possibility of repayment, especially if he intends on scamming others to give us our money. I wouldn't wish the hell I've been through on any other hard working family. So my sole focus is to warn others of his history of deception and hopefully see him rot in jail. I spoke with a detective from the Suffolk PD and he advised us to contact the Attorney General's Office because he took money from people outside state lines. That's our next phase. Generally speaking, defamation is the issuance of a false statement about another person, which causes that person to suffer harm. Slander involves the making of defamatory statements by a transitory (non-fixed) representation, usually an oral (spoken) representation. Libel involves the making of defamatory statements in a printed or fixed medium, such as a magazine, blog, e-mail message or newspaper.
Typically, the elements of a cause of action for defamation include:
A false and defamatory statement concerning another;
The unprivileged publication of the statement to a third party (that is, somebody other than the person defamed by the statement);
If the defamatory matter is of public concern, fault amounting at least to negligence on the part of the publisher; and
Damage to the plaintiff.
In the context of defamation law, a statement is "published" when it is made to the third party. That term does not mean that the statement has to be in print.
Damages are typically to the reputation of the plaintiff, but depending upon the laws of the jurisdiction it may be enough to establish mental anguish.
Most jurisdictions also recognize "per se" defamation, where the allegations are presumed to cause damage to the plaintiff. Typically, the following may consititute defamation per se:
Attacks on a person's professional character or standing;
Allegations that an unmarried person is unchaste;
Allegations that a person is infected with a sexually transmitted disease;
Allegations that the person has committed a crime of moral turpitude;
While actions for defamation have their roots in common law, most jurisdictions have now enacted statutes which modify the common law. They may change the elements of the cause of action, limit when an action may be filed, or modify the defenses to an action for defamation. Some may even require that the defendant be given an opportunity to apologize before the plaintiff can seek non-economic damages.
Under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, as set forth by the U.S. Supreme Court in the 1964 Case, New York Times v Sullivan, where a public figure attempts to bring an action for defamation, the public figure must prove an additional element: That the statement was made with "actual malice". In translation, that means that the person making the statement knew the statement to be false, or issued the statement with reckless disregard as to its truth. For example, Ariel Sharon sued Time Magazine over allegations of his conduct relating to the massacres at the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps. Although the jury concluded that the Time story included false allegations, they found that Time had not acted with "actual malice" and did not award any damages.

Keep up the search ladies and find more like you. But you should get a lawyer and file a civil suit. If you like, You can do the paperwork yourself. Fill out a "warrant of debt" form from the general court office building and then file it in the city of the persons home. This will only cost you $21-$26 if you do it yourself. A lawyer would charge $200.
Now there, go get the ball rolling.

Jonathan Keese Sr. of Hampton Roads, Virginia uses internet social networks to display the facade of legitimacy in order to accomplish his various scams. He has professional profiles on MiGente, BlackPlanet, Go BIG network, Cambridge Who's Who, ZoomInfo People Directory! and Spokes Business Directory. He also has created several shell companies like Entity Real Estate Holding, Entity Private Held Mortgages, Entity Professionals, Entity Broadcasting with the intent to lure investors on false promises while spending investors money illegally. He surrounds himself with honest, trusting people to create the illusion of legitimacy while he spends their money behind their backs. He has pages on MySpace and Facebook also. He has a website that is up for Entity Professionals, LLC in order to lure legitimate business owners into either getting access to their network and scamming someone within that network or eventually scamming the clients themselves. The website that he has for The Buck Stops Here Live Radio Show of Hampton Roads Virginia does not even exist anymore and he owes the radio stations money that he has not paid in a long time. The radio stations are WYRM in Norfolk, VA and WPMH in Chesapeake, VA. Using this deception he portrays himself falsely as a national radio show host when he is currently not broadcasting anywhere. His current endeavor is AEC/VIP an adult film/event and modeling escort company that lures young females into depravity. Jonathan, you did delete the comment that my sister made on TBSHL blog. You are obviously in control of that blog...but not this one. The comment was in reply to your last comment to Fred. It stated...How will the resolution to our discrepancy be prolonged by what any other individual posts on the internet? You first stated that you will begin payback next weekend which was Feb 14, then you commented again stating that we would see a resolution in the next few months..which one is it? Apparently it wasn't Feb 14th because my sister nor I have heard anything from you. You can go ahead and take legal action for defamation of character but you WILL lose cause everything stated is true! We have gone through the steps of the default stated on the promissory notes but our requests have been ignored. Sheild III, Attorney At Law from Jones, Blechman, Woltz & Kelly law firm, and although he has spoken with Mr. Keese, he denies representing him. So once again...lies, lies, lies. Jonathan contacted my sister via email, asking me to remove my blogs because its hindering him from doing business and making money to pay us back....lol. HELLO! I spoke with a detective from the Suffolk PD and he advised us to contact the Attorney General's Office because he took money from people outside state lines. That's our next phase. Although Jonathan thinks I'm doing this out of anger...I'm not angry anymore. I just want justice. I will continue my efforts in sharing my info to expose him.
